Leonnates

In the composition: Leonnates defends Alexander as one of the only soldiers with a functional, unbroken spear. He wears a Shemagh, crafted by his Afghani wife - over half of Alexander's army took Bactrian (modern Afghanistan) wives - Leonnates famously married a royal Bactrian, and she had crafted this Shemagh for him to wear in battle as protection - not unlike those crafted in the 21st century 2,300 years later.

A life-long friend of Alexander and a royal Macedonian, Leonnates was expected to play a large role in Alexander's burgening empire.  He would be remembered as a hero for the rest of his life for his actions on this day.
